Thank you! It is very pretty.
Hello Julie, Annette and Josephine!
Happy New Year! So happy you like the cowl. Hope you get a chance to try the pattern.
Annie
Thank you for the lovely warm cowl pattern.I have accumulated a lot of bulky fuzzy yarn in my stash and this pattern will make beautiful gifts for my friends(we live in frozen North Dakota where warm woolens are always appreciated!)
Hi Cathy!
Great! So glad this pattern will be a stash buster!
Annie

Glad you like the pattern, Gina!

I have just started the first row of bobbles. This is my first bobble project and I really am grateful you made the technique understandable. I hope mine will looks as good as yours does.
Hi Amanda!
I am so glad you are trying bobbles! I am sure your cowl will be gorgeous! Email me some photos if you like, I always love to see how my patterns work for others! Have fun!
Annie
Gee whiz, and I thought this would be hard to find out.
Thanks for this terrific pattern. I have made three in the last month. They are so easy to wear – no adjusting or pulling required. They can make great quick gifts, but for now I am hanging on to my three. Peg
Peg, thank you so much for letting me know you are enjoying the pattern! Cheers!
Annie
Love the colour and the design is so flattering, it really holds its shape and beauty when worn!! You’re so creative and talented 🙂
Hi Nicole!
So glad you like the cowl! Enjoy!
Annie
Can this pattern be knit on circular needles as one piece?
Hi Doreen!
Yes, you could do this on circular needles. You would need to figure out how big the cowl needs to be and do a swatch to get the number of cast on stitches. You could put the bobbles on the first row and the last row. I think this may work. Thanks!
Annie
I love this pattern, thank you so much for offering it for free, I was wondering if I could use wool instead? I don’t have any mohair available to me.
Thanks
Hi Jo Annie
Yes, you can do this pattern in wool. I’ve seen it knit in plain wool, it looks quite different. Do you have any wool/alpaca blend? This will look nice as well.
Have fun with this pattern!
Annie
no i dont have any wool/alpaca blend, I just have wools and sock yarn at the moment
Yes, you could use almost any yarn with this pattern. Wool will look different, but still lovely. Enjoy the pattern!
Annie
Looks lovely, cannot wait to try it, but I have to spin the wool first. Sue from OZ
A beautiful cowl that would love to have a go at making. I am in the UK where wool/yarn is sold by weight. Do you know what 164 metres would equate to in grammes?
Hello Karen!
My blue cowl was knit with 200 grams of mohair. Perhaps you could take a copy of this pattern to your yarn shop and try to find an equivalent yarn. Good luck with this!
Annie
Thank you for sharing, this is a great pattern, I made one for my friend, now everyone wants one! Your instructions are precise and easy to follow!!
Is there only one bobble. On the 5th and 6th row looks like they are all along the rows
JUST LOVELY, CAN’T WAIT TO BEGIN, AND THANK-YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!
You say MB=make a baubble–BUT, you don’t say how to do that. Could you include instructions, please? I’d really like to try this!
Hi Aileen,
The instructions for making bobbles are written in the Notes section above the pattern instructions. Enjoy!
Annie
so I am new to knitting and am having a hard time with this pattern . . for some reason my cowl is decreasing after I make the bobble – I think I am missing a step . . . I increase from three to six in the first part and at the end, when you pearl you go back to three and then down to one in the last part – so I lose two each time . . . that can’t be right. Help! This look so lovely I really want to make one
