Happy Birthday, Minnie!

December 27, 2011

I designed my Minnie Scarf last December. I’ve knit up another one in semi-solid orange. I used one skein of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Heavy Weight and 5mm needles. Instead of casting on 5 stitches as indicated in the original pattern, I cast on 8 stitches. With one skein of this yarn, I was able to do 76 pattern repeats with very little yarn left. Oh, in case you are wondering, this color is called Muckity Muck!  The original pattern is here. Enjoy!

Minnie

I am working on another Minnie in a sport weight yarn using 3.5mm needles. I’ll post the pattern and some photos as soon as it is done!

I’m doing this Minnie scarf right now with Noro Silk Garden. Love a mindless, easy knit that turns out this pretty!
