Simple poncho with large eyelets is knit in the round from the top down using stockinette and garter stitches. There is just a bit of shaping (darts) at the shoulders for a smooth fitting neckline. Customize length by knitting fewer or extra pattern repeats. You will need 800 to 1,200 meters aran weight yarn, three stitch markers and one unique stitch marker. This design uses 4.00mm and 5.00 mm circular needles. Instructions included for three sizes: up to 38 / 44 / 48 inch bust. Pictured poncho knit in Rowan Pure Aran. You may use any aran weight yarn with good stitch definition. Enjoy!
