Foxglove

Foxglove is an asymmetrical, lace weight, cowl neck poncho knit in the round from the top down using stockinette stitch. Cowl and bottom edges are knit in garter stitch. Bottom slit on short side of poncho allows for ease of arm movement and can be worn on left or right side. You will need a minimum of 1,575 meters / 1,722 yards Wollmeise Lace yarn. Length is adjustable. Pictured poncho is size 2 and shown on US size 12 dressform. Enjoy!

Materials:
mimimum 1,722 yards Wollmeise Lace yarn
3.25mm (US3) (UK10) circular knitting needles 24″ and 40″
2.75mm (US2) (UK12) circular knitting needles 24″ and 40″
2 Stitch markers and 1 unique stitch marker

Approximate Measurements after blocking:
Size 1:  24.75 inch cowl circumference
Size 2:  26.50 inch cowl circumference
Size 3:  28.25 inch cowl circumference

Suggested Sizing:
Size 1:  bust measurement up to 39 inches
Size 2:  bust measurement 40 to 44 inches
Size 3:  bust measurement over 44 inches

Stitches / techniques used:
Stockinette
Garter
Long Tail cast on (or your favorite stretchy cast on method)
Lifted Right and Left increases
Knit into front and back of stitch
