Rowena

Rowena poncho is knit in the round from the top down using stockinette and garter stitches. Deep collar and bottom edges are split on the same side and knit back and forth in garter stitch. Slit on bottom border allows for ease of arm movement and can be worn on left or right side. You will need a minimum of 1,400 to 1,700 meters DK weight yarn. Pictured poncho is size 1 shown on US size 12 dressform. Enjoy!

Materials:
Minimum 1,400 meters / 1531 yards DK weight yarn for size 1
Minimum 1,700 meters / 1860 yards DK weight yarn for size 2
3.50mm / US4 circular needles, 24 and 40 inch or longer
4.00mm / US6 circular needles, 24 and 40 inch or longer
2 stitch markers
1 unique stitch marker

Suggested Sizing:
Size 1: 26 inch neck opening, bust measurement up to 42 inches
Size 2: 28 inch neck opening, bust measurement over 42 inches
Please also use neck opening measurements as sizing guide.

Stitches / techniques used:
Stockinette stitch
Garter stitch
Lifted left and right increases
Long Tail cast on (or your favorite stretchy cast on method)
Knit into front and back of stitch
