Puddle Cowl

 

 

 

 

Puddle cowl is knit back and forth and in the round using stockinette and garter stitches. Deep yoke is worked back and forth to create an opening that can worn on the left or right side. Main part of cowl is worked in the round creating lots and lots of fabric that will puddle together when worn. You will need a minimum of 1,000 to 1,500 meters heavy lace weight yarn. Pictured cowl is knit with Wollmeise Lace in Neptune Medium, Size 2 shown on US size 12 dressform. Enjoy!

Materials:
1,000 to 1,500 meters / 1,100 to 1,640 yards heavy lace weight yarn
3.50 mm / US 4 / UK9.5 circular needles 24”
3.00 mm / US 2.5 / UK11 circular needles 24”
1 stitch marker

Measurements:
Size 1: 25.00 inch circumference, 34 inch height
Size 2: 26.50 inch circumference, 39 inch height
Size 3: 28.00 inch circumference, 44 inch height
Sizing is easily customized. Notes included.

Garter stitch
Long Tail cast on (or your favorite stretchy cast on method)
