Color Me Happy is a kerchief style, color work cowl knit in the round and back and forth. This design uses lace, stockinette, and garter stitches. You will knit from the bottom up and use three colors worked into five sections. Instructions are also included for a straight bottom. Sample cowl is knit with Miss Babs Yet heavy lace merino/tussah silk yarn. Enjoy!

3 skeins Miss Babs Yet, each 365 meters / 400 yard
Colors: Aubergine, Bloomin Pansies and Sweet Pea
3.50 mm / US 4.0 / UK 9.50 circular needles 24 inch
3.00 mm / US 2.5 / UK 11.0 circular needles 24 inch

Gauge
28 stitches in stockinette stitch = 4 inches

Stitches / Techniques used
K = Knit
P = Purl
KFB = knit into front and back of stitch to create an extra stitch
SSK = slip two stitches (one at a time) as if to knit onto right needle, insert the left needle into the fronts of two slipped stitches and knit them together
YO = Yarn over needle to make one stitch
